Well, some people are just so.. stupid! I just recently aquired a yardsale jem! The guy told me it was old, vintage he wasn't sure the year but it looks to me to be at least early seventies. It's clearly maple, beutiful kit, the name on it reads CB Drum company, I'm not sure but it's probably keller shells? All I know is it sounds incredible. It features a huge wall of rototoms 13 I think, 19 crahes (6 are cracked), 11 toms (various colers), 4 bass drums, with 2 double bass pedals. The sound is huge, and I got it for a steall at $849 any one heard of these drums? I'll post a pic later.

CB drum company? Never heard of them, but there is a CB700 drum company. Any pictures to show?
1 way to tell if they are maple, if the grain is going around the drums shell it's either maple or birch. If the grain is going top to bottom, then it's 1 of many types of woods, poplar, mahagony, luan, basswood.
